Clean Your Virtual Desktop

Whether it's in your cloud, email inbox, desktop, tablet, or phone, having organized virtual spaces helps you manage stress. Stop wasting time looking for things and more time on what matters.
A few tips:
🗂 Use folders and sub-folders where necessary to organize your information. Think of folder names that work for you. Some people like to stay high level and others prefer to be more granular.
👩💻 For naming files, you could try "YYYY.MM.DD - brief description" The brief description might include a vendor name and invoice number or the title of a document.
🗑 Set aside time at least once per year to check in and see if you still need all of the files you are keeping. In doubt? Check with your bookkeeper/CPA or attorney.
💾 Backup your files regularly!! We've all been there when a file becomes corrupt, is accidentally deleted, etc. Keeping backups helps ensure you can access what you need when you need it.
